KAGE was founded following an education trip made in 2017, when the founder and CEO of the company, Delphin KAZE, was a student in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Gitega, a trip that highlighted the alarming deforestation due to the use wood as the main source of energy.

Since then, applied research to find substitute alternatives has made it possible to develop clean cooking fuels that we market under the brand name KABIOF.
